ਰਾਮ ਸਰੂਪ ਅਣਖੀ

(1932-2010) ਰਾਮ ਸਰੂਪ ਅਣਖੀ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਅਕਾਦਮੀ ਇਨਾਮ ਜੇਤੂ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਕਵੀ, ਕਹਾਣੀਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਤੌਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਾਵਲਕਾਰ ਸੀ। ਅਣਖੀ ਨੇ ਠੇਠ ਮਲਵਈ ਰੂਪ ਦੇ 5 ਕਾਵਿ ਸੰਗ੍ਰਿਹ, 250 ਦੇ ਆਸ-ਪਾਸ ਕਹਾਣੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ 16 ਨਾਵਲ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਦੀ ਝੋਲੀ ਪਾਏ।

ਬਾਬੂ ਰਜਬ ਅਲੀ

(1894-1979) Known as The King of Kavishari, his verses are a rich mosaic of the Malwa's rural tapestry, capturing the joys, sorrows, and spirited vitality of the peasantry.

ਸ਼ਿਵ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਬਟਾਲਵੀ

(1936-1973) Shiv Kumar Batalvi was a poet of passion, agony and separation. He often adopted a female persona in his poetry to express himself and the anguish of his heart.

ਸੁਖਵਿੰਦਰ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ

Sukhwinder Amrit is a celebrated Punjabi poetess who began crafting verses early on, despite familial opposition. Her poems speak of human relationships and the struggles of marginalized communities.

ਸੁਰਜੀਤ ਪਾਤਰ

A renowned contemporary Punjabi poet. His ability to convey profound thoughts through simple yet eloquent language makes him a beloved figure in the literary landscape.

ਹਾਸ਼ਮ ਸ਼ਾਹ

(1735–1843) Hashim Shah was a Sufi poet and a Hakeem by profession. It is believed that he maintained close association with Maharaja Ranjit Singh as his physician.

ਕਾਦਰ ਯਾਰ

(1802-1892) ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਚਨਾ ਕਿੱਸਾ 'ਪੂਰਨ ਭਗਤ' ਅਤੇ ਕਿੱਸਾ ‘ਸੋਹਣੀ ਮਹੀਵਾਲ` ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਹਰਮਨ ਪਿਆਰੀ ਹੈ। ਕਾਦਰਯਾਰ ਲਿਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪੂਰਨ ਭਗਤ ਦਾ ਕਿੱਸਾ ਲਿਖਣ ਤੇ ਮਹਾਰਾਜਾ ਰਣਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਇਕ ਖੂਹ ਇਨਾਮ ਵਿਚ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ।

ਬਾਬਾ ਸ਼ੇਖ ਫ਼ਰੀਦ

(1188-1266) Bābā Farīd, was a 13th-century Punjabi preacher, poet and mystic, who remains one of the most revered and esteemed mystics of the Middle ages.

ਬੁੱਲ੍ਹੇ ਸ਼ਾਹ

(1680-1757) Bulleh Shah was a Sufi poet, philosopher and a mystic. His poems have a playful and conversational tone highlighting critique of societal norms and celebration of divine love.

ਅਧਿਆਪਕ, ਕਹਾਣੀਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਗ਼ਜ਼ਲਗੋ ਜੋ ਵੀਡੀਓ ਇੰਟਰਵਿਊਆਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਵੰਡ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਣਕਹੀਆਂ ਕਹਾਣੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਗ੍ਰਹਿਤ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਮੱਲ੍ਹਮ, ਸੁਖਮਣੀ, ਪੁਲ ਅਤੇ ਗਾਈਡ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਚਰਚਿਤ ਕਹਾਣੀਆਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਮੁੱਖ ਹਨ।

ਸ਼ਾਹ ਹੁਸੈਨ

(1538–1599) Shah Hussain wrote the songs of love, dejection, devotion and separation. Sense of separation is so deep-rooted that it moves the hearts of readers.
